Working out your budget:
We understand, with all the excitement, that it can be easy to delve straight into wedding planning without considering your wedding budget. Simply, your budget is whatever you make it – and of course, this can vary significantly! But we can assure you, with our incredible outdoor tipi venue, not only will your wedding be the talk of the town, but you can keep within budget too! It’s important to decide your priorities when it comes to planning a wedding. The main and first priority being your venue! And that’s why we’re here to help and explain why outdoor weddings and venues are the greatest!
Choosing your location:

Planning your decoration:
We offer one fantastic package, with lots of extras included, to not only keep things simple and less overwhelming when planning your big day but to also provide you with a beautiful venue equipped with decoration for those memorable moments. This package includes:
- Magical fairy lights around the tipi poles.
- Rustic trestle tables and benches.
- Coir Matting.
- An enchanting walkway with twinkly festoon lighting.
- A spacious dancefloor.
- A separate chill-out tipi with comfy furniture and an indoor firepit.
- Exclusive use of our cider apple orchard.
- An experienced member of the team on site for set up the day before and on your day – including planning support, supplier recommendations, unlimited emails and liaison, a day plan and importantly a power check.
- Outdoor firepits with logs provided, along with outdoor seating.
- Onsite parking.
- Our cool horse box cocktail bar.
- Shepard hut toilets, with power and water supply.
- An outside ceremony area with a naked tipi and covering.
- A fantastic evening of partying until 12am.
- Followed by full use of the tipi the next day until midday.
Food and drinks:
What’s a wedding without great food and delicious cocktails? Well luckily, we take care of all your drinks including the welcome drinks, wine for the tables and a toasting drink during the speeches! We also run the bar along with a trendy little horsebox cocktail bar – so you can go ahead and tick drinks off your do-to-list! Our venue lends itself to a more relaxed feel so grazing boards and food trucks are always a popular option.
Food-wise, no matter what type you’re envisioning (you may want a fancy three-course meal, bites from your favourite food truck, or a buffet spread) we can provide you with some amazing, local suppliers we work with – all tried and tested by us of course!
Planning for the weather:
The Great British weather…well, not always so great…can often be thought to dictate weddings, but here at The Orchard At Munsley, we’re prepared for your big day no matter the conditions! We have the most incredible tipis that can withstand anything the weather can throw at us. If you’re imagining an all-outdoor wedding, we have plenty of green space and beautiful surroundings for those warm sunny days. We always have a plan B option up our sleeve so all bases are covered here.. But if you prefer the thought of a covered wedding, or didn’t quite get the sun (the rain can be oh-so-romantic too!), we provide our triple hat tipi, with a gorgeous rustic, boho feel, the sides can be either down to keep the rain and wind off or lifted to transform them into light and airy spaces.
